“AANK_A Creative Line,” in collaboration with “Xpressions“, the drama society of IIT Guwahati, orchestrated an enriching acting workshop titled “Abhinay.” The event spanned two insightful days, on the 17th and 18th of February 2019.

The workshop aimed to provide a platform for budding actors and theatre enthusiasts to hone their acting skills, delve into the intricacies of the craft, and embrace the art of emotive storytelling. Through a series of engaging activities, participants delved into various facets of acting, including body language, voice modulation, character analysis, and improvisation. 

Dr Mrinal Jyoti Goswami, Artistic Director of AANK_A Creative Line guided the participants. The collaboration between “AANK_A Creative Line” and “Xpressions” exemplified a commendable effort to foster artistic growth and create a space for creative expression. Participants departed with a heightened understanding of acting’s nuances, a strengthened foundation in theatrical skills, and a sense of camaraderie with fellow enthusiasts. The workshop undoubtedly left an indelible mark, nurturing the passion for acting and theater among the participants, contributing to the cultural and artistic enrichment of the community.
