Screenwriting and film production software
The first Assamese software of its kind
Screenwriting and film production software. Write a screenplay in Assamese, English or both, with songs and lyrics, then break it down, schedule the shoot, make call sheets and keep the budget.
The web app opens in Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox. Install it from its start page and it works without internet. The offline file (1.0 MB) is for computers.
Launch: Sunday 25 October 2026, 5:30 PM, at the inaugural ceremony of BBITF 2026
Sri Sri Madhavadeva International Auditorium, Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, Guwahati
What it does
- Screenplay writing with song and lyric elements
- Bilingual scripts with a translation under every line
- Open and save Word (.docx) scripts
- Export to PDF, Fountain and Final Draft
- Script breakdown
- Stripboard shooting schedule
- Call sheets, storyboard and continuity log
- Planning: crew, locations and budget
Works with the other AANK apps
Send a screenplay to XUDHAKANTHA, the mother app, or to SILPA KUTIR, XUNPAKHILI, BURHA LUIT, SRINIBARAN and KUMSUNG, and open their work here as a new script.
Choose Send to in one app, then Open from in the other. On aank.org the work moves across at once; elsewhere it travels as an .aank file.
Guides and downloads
Read the Installation Guide first: it shows how to open, install and keep your work safe on a computer, a phone or a tablet.
Devices
Works on computers, Android phones and iPhone or iPad, in Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox. Phones are good for viewing and small changes; for full work use a laptop or desktop with Chrome or Edge.
Your work stays on your device
Everything you make is kept on your own device. Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed. Save a project file now and then as a backup.
Scan with your phone camera to open the web app.
